Live Deeply - Explore Your Senses
The Lone Wolfe Brewing Co., opened in June 2014 in the heart of downtown Wolfeboro, NH, as a one man one barrel brewery and tasting room. Since then, the husband and wife team of Jen and Graham Combes have constantly expanded and reinvented the food and beer offerings as well as the physical locations.
The brewery is located just a few miles out of town on the Combes' family farm. A custom built 10 barrel brewhouse from Tigpro Stainless Fabrications, in Portland, ME, was installed during the first half of 2017, and production began in August, '17. The brewery may have grown but head brewer, Graham, still finds himself holding down the one man operation at the farm. While the farm currently remains closed to the public, the original tasting room and brewery has moved across the street and has grown into a 100 seat beer hall with a full menu and bar.
The beer hall's interior, designed by Jen Combes, reflects the rustic character of the original tasting room, and pays homage to the rich history of beer culture from around the world. The locally milled 27 foot live edge bar dominates the room, while authentic beer hall tables from Kulmbach, Germany create an inviting and relaxed environment for enjoying a fresh meal with family, or a round of drinks with friends. With 10 rotating draft lines of offerings brewed from both locations, hand squeezed margaritas and fresh local produce the Lone Wolfe strives to indulge your senses.

gose 4.2% 18 ibu
Brewed with malted wheat, coriander and a dash of sea salt, this German style ale is light in body, slightly tart and finishes with a soft salinity. Originally brewed near Leipzig, Germany, over 1,000 years ago, this beer style nearly disappeared from the face of the earth before finding a recent revival. We have crafted our Gose to drink as what we believe they would have enjoyed ages ago in the German mountainside.
farmhouse ale 6% 23 ibu
Brewed with European barley, wheat and hops, and fermented out with a Belgian yeast strain; this crisp, dry and refreshing ale is our house favorite. A bright amber color hints to the sweet caramel flavor of the malt, which balances the spicy, earthy character of the noble hops. Brewed in homage to the farmhouse breweries that dot the countryside of Belgium and France.
TRIPEL 9% 12 Ibu
Our take on a Belgian style Tripel, brewed with European malt and hops, premium Belgian yeast and a hint of coriander. Light in body, with a sweet floral front thats finishes dry. The first triple was created by the trappist monks of Westmalle in the early 1930's in response to growing popularity of Bavarian pilsners. The high alcohol is completely hidden within a bright light beer. Brewed for Jen and guaranteed to be a true bruiser.
citra ipa 7% 42 ibu
This is the recipe that started it all! A 50/50 pilsner and wheat base give this light-bodied IPA a sweet malt backbone, with just a touch of caramel character. Brewed with 100% Citra® hops, this beer has a big, bright grapefruit flavor and aroma, with just enough bitterness to balance things out. A gold medal for the home-brew version of this recipe was the inspiration for us starting the Lone Wolfe, and it is always a favorite when it graces the draft lines.
Yardsale ipa 6.5% 66 ibu
Brewed in collaboration with Gunstock ski mountain, this unfiltered IPA is brewed with a blend of Cascade, Amarillo and Mosaic hops for a bright fruity aroma, and nice big bitterness. The sweet malt backbone balances nicely with the hop character, creating an IPA to be enjoyed aprés ski. Or the perfect pint for in-between runs down the mountain. Just be careful...too many Yardsales and you may be having your own yardsale!
Dipp'ah 9.2% 117 IBu
This deceptively dangerous single-hopped Citra® Double IPA will go down with pure ease. The true embodiment of Graham's brewing style; a combination of East and West coast, with a touch of Belgian influence. Aromas of tropical fruit abound from the glass, or can, and a substantial but smooth bitterness grabs the sides of the tongue with a hint of citrus. The crisp, dry finish fades without lingering.
CASCADIAN dark ale 6% 82 ibu
A tip of the hat to the west coast origins of the black IPA, this is a hardcore beer drinker's beer. A combination of dark malts blend seamlessly with hops from the pacific northwest. An aggressive lemon zest bitterness compliments the rich coffee and chocolate character of the malt. Piney resins create a harmonious relationship within the palate; lighter in body than to be expected, don't let the color fool you, this is the brewmaster's choice!
COFFEE MILK STOUT 6% 23 IBU
A local collaboration with Seven Suns Coffee & Tea. This sweet and smooth stout is brewed with roasted barley and chocolate malt, with a generous dose of lactose milk sugar for a rich and creamy body. Finished with Seven Suns house made cold brew coffee concentrate that is sure to leave you with a buzz.
